Contact us

Bug reports, questions, feature ideas, billing problems and privacy requests all go to the same address: odakapp@ome-marketing.com.

It helps if you tell us your device and OS version, and what you were doing when something went wrong. Odak has no backend and no crash reporting, so if it breaks for you, we only find out when you tell us.

Locks and the pause

Can I still open a locked app? Yes. Odak is not a prison — it is a reminder of a promise you made to yourself. When you open a locked app you pass a friction gate: a deterrent screen, then a wait that grows each time you open that app on the same day and resets the next day. You can complete the wait, or skip it for a small flat fee. Then you choose a break of 1–30 minutes and the app opens. When the break ends, the lock comes back on its own.

Giving up is always free, and always at least as visible as the paid option. That is deliberate.

Permissions

Odak needs system permission to notice the moment a locked app comes to the foreground, and to show its own block screen.

  • On iOS: Screen Time authorization (Apple’s Family Controls). You grant it in the system prompt and can withdraw it in Settings → Screen Time.
  • On Android: Usage Access, plus permission to display over other apps. Both are revocable in Android Settings.

None of this information leaves your device. If you withdraw a permission Odak depends on, the app tells you protection is inactive rather than pretending it still works.

Purchases and Premium

What is the skip fee? A one-time, flat in-app purchase for skipping a wait. It is the same every time and never rises with repeated use. Odak never hardcodes a price — it shows the price your store reports, so what you see is what you are charged. Paying is optional: completing the wait and giving up are always free.

What is Odak Premium? An optional auto-renewing subscription that adds extra features — deeper statistics, multiple lock profiles, strict mode — on top of the free core. Premium never weakens the lock, never shortens a wait and never creates a free bypass.

Managing or cancelling. Subscriptions are handled by your store, not by us. iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android: Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds go through them — Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google: the Play refund request form. Your statutory consumer rights still apply. If you were charged in error, write to us and we will help you take it up with the store. Full detail is in the Terms of Use.

Your data

Odak has no account, no login and no backend operated by us. Your locked apps, usage statistics and settings stay on your device, and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

The one exception is payment verification: if you buy or restore a purchase, a store purchase token and a pseudonymous app user ID go to RevenueCat so it can confirm your entitlement. Your name, email, location and app-usage data are never sent. The full picture is in the Privacy Policy.

Platforms

Odak is being prepared for both iPhone and Android. The mechanic is identical on both; only the system permissions that enforce the lock differ — Screen Time on iOS, Usage Access on Android.

Leaving Odak

You can uninstall Odak at any time. It never blocks uninstalling, force-stopping or opening your system settings — a rule you set for yourself is not a chain we get to hold. If you are leaving because something did not work, please tell us why first; that is how the app gets better.
